What you will need to apply with us

• You must have a valid driver’s license - Temporary or out-of-state licenses are also acceptable.
• You must be 21 years or older to drive.
• You must have a clean driving record with auto insurance.
• You consent to our driver screening and background check.
• You must own an iPhone or Android smartphone that can download and run the KoolCab Driver app.

Vehicle Requirements

• Must have South African license plates.
• Must have been manufactured within the last 5 years or newer.
• Must have 4 doors.
• Must have 5-8 seats, including the driver’s seat.

Document requirements

• Valid South African driver's license
• Professional driver's permit (PrDP)
• Vehicle registration papers
• Comprehensive vehicle insurance certificate
• Proof of vehicle inspection and roadworthiness certificate
• Criminal background check certificate
